Because of her success she was eligible to participate at the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. On June 22 Mohr was the winner of the competition. In September of 1985 Mohr represented Georgia at the Miss America 1986 Pageant held in Atlantic City (New Jersey) after her victory. However, she was not the top 10 finalist for the national title.
