Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress, producer, playwright and educator in St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the child of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for productions as a young girl as well as watching her mother doing her job. Anna appeared in numerous commercials as a kid. Anna relocated to Toronto, Ontario, in order to pursue acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually moved into Los Angeles.
