  Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991), often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from the United States. He is also a singer, songwriter record producer, singer, and songwriter. The stage name he uses is that of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement for GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album of full length, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. The project was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the lead track. His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott has released his second album with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was his third studio album Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the second quarter of 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first rapper to reach first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
